Our clinic
Calm, personal care in Perambur
Dr. M. Muthukkumar has been practising acupuncture for 17 years. At Backya Acupuncture he follows a classical approach: every treatment begins with a careful reading of the pulse, and is usually given with a single sterile, disposable needle.
He is joined by P. Backkialakshmi. Together they see people of all ages from Perambur and across Chennai, in morning and evening sessions from Monday to Saturday, and on Sunday mornings.
What guides us
How we work
-
The classical method
Treatment is guided by a careful reading of the pulse and is usually given at a single point, with one needle.
-
The whole person
We look at your health as a whole, not only the complaint that brought you to us.
-
A drug-free therapy
Acupuncture itself involves no medicines.
-
Clean and careful
We use sterile, individually packed, single-use needles for every treatment.
-
Convenient hours
Morning and evening sessions from Monday to Saturday, and Sunday mornings — so visits fit around work and school.
-
For every age
Children, teenagers, working adults and older people all come to the clinic.
